ABOUT US

BACKGROUND

ICAS (Industry, Quality, Environment and Safety) was established in early 2017 understanding the need to implement enhancement processes throughout the entire rice segment, which in Paraguay was growing at a fast pace.

Through our experience in the segment, we were able to implement enhancements in work equipment and processes of several industries in the segment to adequate the quality of products as well as of production lines.

SERVICES

Process supervision

We carry out supervision of cargo destined for export or through client request, mainly working with in the cereals and oilseeds segment.

We carry out facility or shipment point inspection prior to loading, as well as of the specifications, so as to provide the required quality and safety conditions.

We believe in team work and the commitment of people so that outcomes are successful for all stakeholders, a determining factor for the sustainability of companies.

Adding value to the process comprises one of our goals, permanently endeavoring for ongoing enhancements and client service as basic pillars of developing responsible trust.

Management Consulting

We work together with our clients, understanding their needs and generating solutions that they need to fulfill their goals.

Audits

We carry out quality audits based on ISO (9001, 22.000 y 14.000), GMP, SSOPs y HACCP norms.

Food Safety

We provide an assessment service to companies in the food and gastronomical segments, in matters of good manufacturing practices and food handling. We perform audits to check all points involved.

We carry out an assessment of the company’s needs to set up a specific empowerment plan.

Empowerment

We carry out custom-made empowerment and workshops in the areas of Food Safety, Control and efficiency of Processes, Ongoing enhancement, grains handling, among others.

Cereals and Oilseeds

We carry out load supervision at the point of origin as well as quality control, for compliance with all client requirements, working together with the producer or industry.

Rice:

  • We carry out assessment for Process Management enhancement in receipt, milling, complying with process efficiency and quality parameters of the finished product.
  • We carry out analysis personnel empowerment in paddy rice, whole rice and white rice, as well as parboiled.
  • Assessment in quality requirements for different markets and their different types of analyses.
Soy:
  • Empowerment in receipt quality parameters.
All grains:
  • Handling of grans post-harvest (temperature, humidity, etc., incidence).
  • Audits and implementation of good manufacturing practices, grain storage and pest control.

Fumigation

Fumigation:
  • We apply fumigation to cereals, oilseeds and others loads.
  • We provide advice to the agri-food industry in pest prevention and control procedures.
  • SENAVE Registration #. 2420.

Sanitation

Sanitation:
  • We have an Ultra Low Volume (UBV) cold fogging environment sanitization process. The objective of this process is to disinfect environments in the agri-food industry and in those in which there is a possibility of having bacterial or viral infections, such as Covid 19.
  • It is used as a complement to the cleaning processes of the food industry, hotel gastronomy, among others.
  • In this type of aerosol sanitization, the disinfectant is nebulized in small droplets that are pumped into the air, causing it to become saturated and disinfected. This allows areas to be reached that cannot be disinfected with the usual methods.
